Our Story
I say "OUR STORY" because without my beloved partner, Veronica, I would not be here today. She has been with me every minute and every step on my cancer healing journey. On December 11, 2017 my life changed forever. After a scheduled colonoscopy the doctor came in and said that they found a large growth in my Sigmoid colon. In other words I had cancer! I was shocked and terrified. I was diagnosed with Stage 3c colon cancer. In that moment I got very clear that I wanted to live and what I was willing to do to save my life. I had seen my father die of cancer and actually he died from the chemotherapy that he received to treat his cancer and I knew that I did not prefer to die the way my father died; a miserable, painful and horrific death. For the next year I embarked on a healing crusade. Every day, for the next year, I spent no less than six hours per day researching and implementing dozens of healing protocols to heal and rid my body of cancer. I had decided early on that I did not prefer to go the conventional route of chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. There is a place and a time to receive conventional treatment and the choice to do so is a very personal decision. I preferred NOT to receive any conventional treatment for the first year. And to this day I have not received any chemo or radiation, to the dismay of my oncologist who told me I would be dead in a year if I did not do chemo and radiation!
One of the protocols that I studied extensively was the use of coffee. Both drinking coffee and doing coffee enemas. Prior to 2018 I NEVER drank coffee. After doing my research I started drinking as many as three cups of organic, low acid, air roasted coffee per day and doing as many as five enemas per day. I believe that this protocol contributed significantly to my healing. And now, the new research validates my belief in the powerful healing properties of coffee. The new research tells us that drinking three cups of coffee per day can reduce the chances of a colon cancer diagnosis by 56%. This is significant! Especially when you consider the fact that one in three women and two out of three men will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their life!
So began our quest to find a quality coffee bean and roaster that would help us bring the healing powers of coffee to the masses. After many months of research and testing MANY coffee products we found an organic coffee roaster who agreed to provide a quality, organic, low acid, air roasted and fair trade coffee product which we named
